Islamic State militants freed 25 Kurdish school children Wednesday, Reuters reports. The group was the last of more than 150 children kidnapped in May to be released.

The IS extremists abducted the children from Kobani.

“It is true. They were released from (the Syrian town of) Minbij today. This is the last part of the releases,” the Deputy Foreign Minister of Kobani told Reuters.

IS militants have been terrorizing civilians in Iraq and Syria since June.
