ALBAWABA - The Israeli army carried out an airstrike on Sanaa International Airport on Wednesday morning and announced that it had destroyed the last remaining plane in use by the Houthis.
Israel's Defense Minister, Israel Katz, unveiled "Operation Golden Jewel", in which the Israel Air Force (IAF) planes attacked Houthi targets at Sanaa International Airport.
This is not the first Israeli attack on Sanaa airport. In early May, Israeli war jets carried out airstrike against the Houthi airport, destroying terminal buildings and causing $500 million in damage.
In response, Israeli authorities said that the Yemeni group have fired well over 400 times targeting Tel Aviv since the start of the war, using a mix of ballistic missiles and drones.
Houthis are carrying out attacks on Israel over its war in the Gaza Strip. The group also announced a siege in the Red Sea, banning any Israeli-related ship from passing.
