Israel celebrates Hassan Nasrallah's death on his funeral day

ALBAWABA - Israel celebrated the funeral of slain Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah which is undergoing in Beirut today. The army on Sunday said: "The world is a better place".

Hassan Nasrallah, former leader and cofounder of Hezbollah group, was killed in an Israeli airstrike on the southern Beirut suburb last September. 

"Today is Hassan Nasrallah's funeral. Today the world is a better place," the army posted on their X account.

Tens of thousands gathered in the outskirts of Lebanon's capital for the funeral of Hassan Nasrallah and Hashem Safieddine, who was chosen to succeed him before he was also killed days after Secretary-general Nasrallah.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran Abbas Araghchi landed at Beirut Airport today, Sunday, to take part in the funeral of former Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah and Hashem Safieddine in Lebanon.

Abbas Araqchi told the press from Beirut Airport: "I am participating in the solemn funeral procession representing the Iranian President. The funeral of the two gentlemen will prove that the resistance is alive and will achieve divine victory."

In addition to the Foreign Minister, Iranian parliament speaker Mohammed Bagher Ghalibaf will also attend the funeral of slain Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah in Beirut.
