ALBAWABA - The Israeli occupation army yesterday dropped leaflets from aircraft over the residents of Gaza, stating that Hamas cannot fry an egg (implying an inability to confront Israel).
The leaflets also included a monetary reward for four wanted leaders of Hamas, ranging from one hundred thousand dollars to four hundred thousand dollars. In a swift response, the Hamas resistance stated, 'Yes, we don't fry eggs because we are busy grilling Merkava tanks.' Following this, they announced grilling 72 Israeli vehicles within 72 hours, equivalent to grilling an Israeli vehicle per hour.
In the wake of the Gaza ceasefire's expiration, Israel has reportedly taken unconventional measures to locate and capture prominent Hamas figures. Yahya Sinwar, a significant Hamas leader, and Rafa'a Salameh, commander of the Han Yunus battalion, have become the focal points of Israel's intensified efforts.
Facing difficulties in tracking down Sinwar and Salameh, the Israeli military has chosen to dangle financial incentives for actionable intelligence. Yahya Sinwar's location is now valued at $400,000, while details about Rafa'a Salameh could fetch $200,000.
Recent leaflet distributions throughout the Gaza Strip shed light on Israel's discreet attempts to gather crucial information. The move signifies a notable escalation as Israel seeks to bring these high-profile Hamas leaders to justice.
The resumption of hostilities has transformed the region into a battleground, particularly around the city of Han Yunus. Against this backdrop, the introduction of monetary rewards adds a fresh layer of complexity to the already tense dynamics between Israel and Hamas, amplifying the significance of capturing these key figures on both sides.
