ALBAWABA - The Israeli Army announced the retrieval of 5 bodies of hostages who were held in Gaza.
During a newly launched ground operation in Khan Younis in southern Gaza, the Israeli Army announced retrieving the bodies of five people, including four soldiers. The five had been listed among 120 hostages still in Gaza.
In a report, the Israeli army claimed that the five bodies belonged to 4 soldiers, Ravid Katz, Kiril Brodski, Tomer Ahimas, and Oren Goldin, in addition to Maya Goren. All are believed to have been killed on October 7.
Earlier in June, in a "complex daytime operation" in Nuseirat that claimed the lives of over 200 Palestinians, the Israeli force, aided by the United States, managed to free four captives from Gaza.
Israeli airstrikes targeted the Nuseirat refugee camp, regions east of Deir al-Balah, and the al-Bureij and al-Maghazi camps in central Gaza, killing 210 Palestinians and injuring over 400 others. The strikes coincided with a rapid incursion of vehicles east and northwest of Nuseirat.
The death toll from Israel's bombing of the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza on Saturday has increased to 210, according to the Government Media Office in the besieged enclave.
"Some 210 martyrs and more than 400 injured were brought to Al-Aqsa Hospital due to the brutal Israeli massacre in the Nuseirat camp,".
Al-Aqsa Flood operation against Israel
Hamas military group announced on Oct. 7 a military operation called "Al-Aqsa Flood" against Israel which is the biggest offensive in decades.
Palestinian fighters “infiltrated” Israel from the Gaza Strip and captured military bases and took hostages as photos and videos went viral online showing Hamas fighters on vehicles inside Israel and others paragliding into occupation territory.
In response, Israeli armed forces announced targeting Hamas positions inside the Gaza Strip. Thousands were killed, and dozens of thousands of others were injured in the Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip.
