ALBAWABA- Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with the U.S. House of Representatives Speaker at the Congressional Headquarters before delivering his speech.

 In conjunction with his visit, many protesters gathered near Congress, demanding an end to the war on Gaza and a halt to the supply of weapons to Israel.

During his meeting with the US speaker of Congress, Netanyahu emphasized the importance of U.S. support, stating, "We count on the support of the United States of America, and our people thank you for your support." He also remarked, "Our enemies will not reach our walls today as the Romans did two thousand years ago."

The Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives expressed solidarity with Israel, stating, "We are happy to receive the Israeli Prime Minister, whose country is facing an existential battle." 

He highlighted that Israel is fighting against Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis and urged Americans to support Israel’s struggle. The Speaker also emphasized the unity between the U.S. and Israel in efforts to return the hostages in Gaza.

Notably, Elon Musk attended Netanyahu’s speech as a guest of the Israeli Prime Minister.
