Israeli troops escalated in the last 24 hours their military aggression on Rafah, Khanyounis and Deir al-Balah in the Gaza Strip.
In Rafah, five Palestinian citizens were wounded Monday, including three critically when an Israeli combating helicopter fired at least one missile at the house of Mohammed al-Sheikh Khalil, located in the city refugee camp of Yibna, Palestinian medical sources said.
Medics at al-Najjar hospital told WAFA that five citizens were wounded.
Meanwhile, in Khanyounis, ten family members were in complete jeopardy when an Israeli tank shell fell on the family house, destroying it thoroughly, witnesses said.
They added that the family members were asleep when the shell fell on the house.
In another incident, meanwhile, Hussam Abu Hatab, aged 29, was critically wounded when Israeli soldiers, stationed at the vicinity of the Israeli colony of "Naveh Dikalem", opened their heavy machineguns against the houses in the city's western refugee camp, medics said. They added that Abu Hatab was shot with a live bullet in the head while he was standing at the threshold of his house in the camp.
In Deir al-Balah, two Palestinian citizens were shot with a live bullet in the thigh.
Elsewhere, in the West Bank, Israeli soldiers arrested early Tuesday 19 citizens in Nablus, Jenin and Bethlehem, the news agency added. (Albawaba.com)
