ALBAWABA- An Israeli airstrike targeted the Zuqaq al-Blat area in central Beirut, close to Lebanon's government headquarters and various embassies, according to the state-run National News Agency.
The strike hit a residential apartment, leaving multiple injuries reported, though details remain unclear.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health reported that the strike on Zuqaq al-Blat in Beirut has left four people dead and 18 others injured, according to preliminary figures.
In southern Lebanon, two additional Israeli air raids struck the town of Jibshit, as violence escalated across the region.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health reported that Sunday’s Israeli aggression claimed 35 lives and left 143 people injured. The total death toll in Lebanon has now risen to 3,516, with 14,929 wounded since the escalation began.
Meanwhile, rockets were launched from southern Lebanon toward Israel's Upper Galilee, triggering sirens in Nahariya and nearby areas. Israeli emergency services confirmed six injuries in Shefa-Amr in the Western Galilee after a rocket struck a building.
According to Israeli media, a woman was killed and five others injured in Haifa when a drone reportedly launched from Lebanon hit the area.
