ALBAWABA - The Arabic Spokesperson for the Israeli army, Avichay Adraee, announced on Tuesday morning that the army is launching its ground invasion of Gaza City in the Gaza Strip.
Around 9:45 a.m. Adraee said the Israeli military gained confirmation on Monday night to officially start the ground invasion of Gaza City.
He posted on social media and called on all Gaza City residents to leave immediately, and announced that Gaza City is officially a dangerous combat zone.
Adraee wrote on X, calling residents of Gaza City, "Move as quickly as possible via Al-Rashid Street to the areas designated south of the Gaza Valley by vehicle or on foot." He added, "Join the more than 40% of the city’s residents who have left the city to ensure their safety and the safety of their loved ones."
The Jerusalem Post reported that approximately 130,000 reservists have been called up, with an approximately 80 percent response rate from reservists, to join the war in Gaza.
Quds News Network posted videos of massive airstrikes in Gaza City, saying that this is part of the Israeli army's plan to destroy residential buildings, to forcibly push Palestinians to leave for the south.
