ALBAWABA- In a significant escalation, Israeli occupation drones have struck a civilian vehicle at the southern entrance of Sidon city in Lebanon, reportedly killing two Hamas members.
The attack targeted the vehicle near the entrance to the Ein el-Hilweh refugee camp, allegedly marking the assassination of two Hamas commanders.
Among those killed in the Israeli drone strike was Samer Al-Hajj, a Hamas security official in the Ein al-Hilweh refugee camp near Sidon.
This was followed by additional Israeli raids on the towns of Al-Kharibah and Aita al-Shaab in southern Lebanon.
In response, Hezbollah retaliated by striking multiple Israeli military positions in northern Israel. Sirens sounded in several towns in the Galilee Finger and Western Galilee, including Avivim and Yir'on, due to suspected drone infiltrations.
Hezbollah confirmed that they targeted and hit buildings used by Israeli soldiers in the "Al-Manara" settlement with anti-tank missiles, causing damage to two buildings.
