Israeli raid assassinates Hezbollah military commander

Notably, Lebanon's Hezbollah released a statement earlier today claiming responsibility for a drone attack in Galilee on Tuesday, which reportedly injured three people.

ALBAWABA- Israeli forces carried out an assassination operation targeting a military commander of the Hezbollah group in southern Lebanon, identified as Ismail Yusuf Abu Jaafar. 

According to medical sources, the Israeli attack resulted in two martyrs and two wounded individuals as Israeli forces targeted two cars in Shehabiya, south of Lebanon. 

The assassination took place during an Israeli raid on the town of Yaron, also in southern Lebanon. Hezbollah has confirmed the death of one of its fighters in the incident. 

Notably, Lebanon's Hezbollah released a statement earlier today claiming responsibility for a drone attack in Galilee on Tuesday, which reportedly injured three people.

"Hezbollah fighters launched an attack with suicide drones in two phases... striking the Iron Dome (air defense system) platforms and their crew" Hezbollah's statement reads.

According to a report by The Jerusalem Post, residents of towns near the Lebanese borders have said that two explosive drones had crossed from Lebanese territory and fell in Beit Hillel.
