Jordan will host in August 2005 the 7th Arab Conference for Physics and Astronomy on the occasion of the International Year for Physics 2005. According to <i>Petra</i>, member of the preparatory and scientific committee of the conference, Hanna Sabat on Tuesday said that the conference, which will be entitled "Physics and astronomy in the service of Islamic and Arab societies", will be held at Al Albeit and Princess Sumayyeh Universities.
