A Jordanian army helicopter flew a military medical team to the Palestinian territories on Friday along with hundreds of units of blood donated by the members of the armed forces, Petra news agency reported.
The team is expected to spend several days in the autonomous territories to help doctors treat Palestinians injured in confrontations with Israeli forces, the official agency said.
Jordan has opened its hospitals to Palestinian victims of the violence and launched a blood and financial donation drive. King Abdullah II was among the first to donate his blood – AMMAN (AFP)
