The Jordanian Cabinet on Tuesday decided to lower the sales tax on some industrial products and eliminating the tax altogether on some of the vegetable and fruit products, as well as preserved olives and animal feeds, Jordan’s official news agency (Petra) reported.
The Cabinet also reviewed the steps taken concerning the administrative development plan which involves some amendments on government expenditure, the restrictions on using government vehicles and a proposal to start renting vehicles for government use instead of buying them, Petra added.
