jordanian duty free shops ended 2007 campaign with great results
The Jordanian Duty Free Corporation concluded this week its 2007 Summer Campaign which was launched last July. The six-month campaign aimed to present its visitors with premium quality services coupled with a comfortable and enjoyable environment for shopping.
This month the company held its sixth raffle draw on Tuesday January 15, 2008 at the Jordanian Duty Free Shops located between the fourth and the fifth circle area in Amman.
Throughout the 6-month campaign JDF offered shoppers 1 ticket for each USD 50 or equivalent spent at any of its outlets. These tickets entered into a monthly raffle draw, held at a different JDF outlet each month.
The first place winner in the last raffle draw was awarded USD 10,000 while the second place winner was awarded a TV system and the third place winner received a high-tech stereo system.
JDF received 13 million travelers last year who shopped in the amount of USD 30 million.
Aligned with JDF’s long-term strategy to represent Jordan in the best light and to provide convenience to all its shoppers, the company also recently announced a 25% discount on select items on sale during the month of December.
Commenting on the raffle draw, General Manager of the Jordanian Duty Free Corporation HE Mr. Haitham Al Majali said, “First and foremost I would like to congratulate our 6th raffle draw winners, as we at the Jordanian Duty Free Shops Corporation are proud to see the high level of participation that this campaign reaped over the last 6 months. This campaign complies with our aims to provide for our Jordanian and foreign travelers a unique shopping experience especially with holiday seasons coming up. Where shoppers had the opportunity to buy and win many fantastic prizes.
From his end, Sales and Marketing Director of JDF Mr. Omar Hawamdeh said”. We wanted our shopping outlets to become the shopping point of choice for our clients as we constantly work to expand our product range.”
The success of last year’s campaign so far serves as a source of inspiration for JDF to launch many similar initiatives in the near future.
