Jordan's Queen Rania Al-Abdullah urged, through televised messages transmitted as of Thursday via Arab and world satellite TV channels individuals and establishments around the world to provide help and aid to the victims of the earthquake which ravaged Pakistan. "The painful situation which the Queen witnessed recently in the ravaged areas in Pakistan, made Her Majesty extend such messages in order to make all people around the world be acquainted with the physical and psychological suffering of children who lost their parents and brothers," Petra news agency explained.
The messages contained means to donate through a bank account to be seen at the end of each TV message or through UNICEF's web site.
