Jordan's King Abdullah II in an interview to an Italian newspaper Tuesday said "extreme" Islam, which carries out attacks throughout Europe - was not aimed at harming Western countries, but rather at preventing the spread of moderate Islam.
According to the King, Western countries should take terror threats seriously, since there is no country that is immune against "extreme Islamic terror".
"Jordan is not secure, and as we all have seen, neither is Spain; the threats should be regarded very seriously." (Albawaba.com)
