Libyan leader Muammar Kadhafi arrived in Uganda on Sunday to attend celebrations marking the anniversary of the coronation of a nine-year-old tribal king, reported the BBC Online.
King Oyo Nyimba, a primary school student, became leader of the Toro people in western Uganda six years ago upon the sudden death of his father.
Kadhafi met King Oyo in May during the swearing-in ceremony of Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni, following his re-election as president in March, said the report, adding that the king later appointed the Libyan leader as a special adviser.
The ceremony takes place later on Sunday at the king's palace in Fort Portal, about 400km west of Kampala, the capital – Albawaba.com
