King Charles III arrives at parliament in a historic speech

ALBAWABA - King Charles III has arrived at the United Kingdom parliament along with his wife Queen Camilla in a historic King's speech.

According to the BBC, King Charles III is making a historic step as this is the first King's Speech in more than 70 years.

King Charles III and Queen Camilla left on a Diamond Jubilee State Coach from Buckingham Palace in London, for the Houses of Parliament, for the State Opening of Parliament ceremony.

This is not only King Charles's first speech as monarch, but it is also Rishi Sunak's first King's Speech as prime minister.

At first, the British King started his speech by paying tribute to the "legacy of service and devotion to this country" set by belated Queen Elizabeth II who passed away on Sept. 8, 2022.
