King pardons 478 prisoners

On the occasion of the commemoration of the January 11th Independence Manifesto, King Mohammed VI granted pardon to 478 people sentenced by Morocco’s courts to jail terms, including some who were not put in prison.

 

According to MAP, a group of 122 detainees were granted free pardon on the remaining of their jail terms, 297 had their terms reduced, four had their life jail terms commuted to a limited term.
