Klim Sets World-Record for 50m Butterfly

Australian Michael Klim has broken the world short course record for the men's 50m butterfly. 

Klim reclaimed the record at a meeting organized by a local swimming club at the Australian Institute of Sport pool in Canberra, Sunday. 

Klim swam the Australian record of 23.21 seconds during the meeting. 

He followed that half an hour later in a time trial with a new world-record of 23.11sec, clipping 0.08sec off the record held by Sweden's Lars Frolander - (AFP)
