koohiji group appoints managing director of group’s communication services division

 

The Koohiji Group announced the appointment of Zoff Khan as Managing Director of the Communication Services division of the Group which comprises presently of Technocare and Digital City, two strategic technology services divisions of the Group. With 25 years of hands on experience in Europe, MEA and the Asian regions, Khan will lead the group’s activity with Vendors, Operators and other Partners to develop new products and services needed in the telecom sector.

Prior to joining the Koohiji Group, Khan held the position of Regional Director for ‘Operator Sales Development’ with Motorola – Mobile Devices, Dubai. He was responsible for operator sales strategy and execution in the MENA and Pakistan regions. Previously he led a senior business development level team across the emerging markets to win new cellular infrastructure deals with non-Motorola accounts. This resulted in many major new accounts across the MEA region including the first nationwide WIMAX contract to be awarded globally. Khan has also worked with major telecom multinationals including British Telecom International, Saudi Telecom and Telecom Italia .
