Kuwait military aircraft crashes

A Kuwaiti military aircraft on a training mission crashed near an air base early Tuesday, the Defense Ministry said.

Brig. Youssef Al-Mulla, Director of the Kuwaiti Army's Moral Guidance and Public Relations Department, told the official <i>KUNA</i> news agency that both the pilot and trainer were able to eject from the plane. They were taken to a hospital for medical treatment.

The two aviators sustained slight injuries and were reported in stable condition. An investigation into the incident has been launched.
