An aircraft of the Kuwaiti air force crashed shortly before landing on Monday, the army said in a statement, cited by the Kuwaiti official news agency (KUNA).
The army said the Hawk plane, which was on a routine training flight, crashed before landing at Ali al-Salem air base at 12:45 p.m. local time and the pilot parachuted safely. The statement added that the accident occurred as a result of a technical failure. (Albawaba.com)
