The new Kuwaiti cabinet proposed by the Prime Minister Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah was reviewed and approved, as is, by the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.

Thus, the Amir issued an Amiri decree on the appointment of the ministers under Sheikh Nasser as Prime Minister, as previously decreed July 2nd, 2006, and decreed the lineup be effective as of Monday and that it be reported in the official gazette.

According to AFP, energy minister Sheikh Ahmed Fahd al-Sabah -- a nephew of the Amir -- and state minister for cabinet affairs Mohammed Daifallah Sharar, who have come under fire from the opposition, were ousted from the government.
