Three troops were wounded in a mine explosion on Monday, the Kuwaiti army stated.
It added in a statement, cited by Kuna, the mine exploded when a military team was clearing mines left by the Iraqi forces after the 1990-91 Iraqi invasion, injuring the three servicemen.
The injured soldiers were rushed to hospital and the blast was being investigated, added the statement.
