Lacnor, part of National Food Product Company (NFPC) and the UAE's leader in fruit juice and dairy, today celebrated 30 years of providing refreshing and nutritious long life beverages to the region, with grand celebrations at their Sharjah factory. The event was organised in conjunction with Tetra Pak, its partner in innovation packaging and the world leader in food processing and packaging solutions.
Tetra Pak's visiting President and CEO, Dennis Jonsson and Fady Antonios, President and CEO of National Food Products Company, were among those present at the event. During the function, Lacnor paid special tribute to their staff for their ongoing commitment and dedication in taking the company to greater heights.
Since 1980, continuous product innovation and technological advancement has led the Lacnor factory to produce over a million packs a day of a wide range of long life products including plain and flavoured milk, fruit juices, fruit drinks and tomato paste, distributed through its centres to various outlets in the UAE and Oman, while exporting to 20 other countries around the world.
Speaking at the factory, Fady Antonios, NFPC CEO, said: "Our ability to sustain our leadership position for the past 30 years is a result of a strong relationship with our consumers through building a strong Lacnor Brand. This was achieved by consistently delivering high quality products and product innovation. This achievement can only be attained by close partnership with our suppliers, such as Tetra Pak."
