Lamine Bechichi, the former Minister of Communication and the ex-president of the Algerian Television was honored at the 12th Arab Radio and Television Festival (16-22 September), which is currently being held in Tunis. El Moudjahid reports that Arab States Broadcast Union (ASBU) paid homage to the distinguished personalities of the Arab Media, including Lamine Bechichi of Algeria, Ali Chamou of Sudan, Salah Benaceur of Saudi Arabia, Abdallah Chakroun of Morocco, Amina Sabri of Egypt and Amal Dakkak of Syria during the opening ceremony of the Festival.
