A suicide bomber killed at least 10 Iraqis and injured 18 at a police recruitment centre in Baghdad on Thursday, police sources said. According to Reuters, they said the bomber was in a queue at the entrance and blew himself up when policemen went to search him.Two of the dead were policemen.
Two suicide car bombings killed at least 19 people in the capital on Wednesday. Additionally, roadside bombs took the lives of two U.S. soldiers.
Also Wednesday, police found 76 bodies in Baghdad, with one of them identified as an Iraqi army officer, an Iraqi Interior Ministry official said. Many had been shot and some showed signs of torture, police said.
