At least 30 dead in Iran mosque blast

A bomb exploded in a mosque in a southeastern Iranian city near the border with Pakistan and Afghanistan has caused civilian casualties. According to IRNA, at least 30 people have been killed in the Thursday's blast in the city of Zahedan while more than 50 others have been wounded.

 

The crowd had gathered at the mosque to mark the death anniversary of the daughter of the prophet of Islam.

 

Medical teams have rushed to the scene. The mosque has been partially destroyed by the huge explosion.
