At least six dead as Libyan rebels clash in Tripoli

Armed clashes erupted on Tuesday in the center of Tripoli, the capital of Libya. At least six people were killed in the fire exchanges. According to eyewitnesses, the fighting took place near the headquarters of the previous regime's secret services. The witnesses conveyed that the clashes erupted when security forces loyal to the National Transitional Council of Libya tried to retake the government building, occupied by a militia of rebels from the town of Misruta. .

It should be noted that members of armed militias were still maintaining a prominent presence in many parts of the Libyan capital, some of whom have occupied the buildings belonged to the former regime. They were part of one of the many militias arrived in the Libyan capital after the fall of Muammar Gaddafi regime.
