Stretches of the Bayyada-Naqoura main road in south Lebanon are collapsing and falling into the Mediterranean, endangering drivers’ lives, reported the Daily Star newspaper on Saturday.

The risk of taking the road, which is the only passage from Tyre to Naqoura, worsens by night due to the lack of streetlights.

Drivers are also at risk when blinded by truck headlights, said the paper.

English and Arabic warning signs have been erected on the road – Albawaba.com
