LG’s Healthcare Collection makes a grand entry into Middle East and Africa

Global and regional digital leader LG Electronics celebrated the Middle East and Africa launch of its Healthcare Collection in grand style, with leading entertainers such as Lebanese pop diva Roula Saad, Pakistan’s singing sensation Shafquat Amanat Ali flying down to Dubai to join in the festivities.

LG introduced its Healthcare Collection at a gala dinner in the presence of more than 1,500 special invitees who included journalists, doctors, dealers and trade, who came to Dubai from 19 countries in the Middle East and Africa. The event was held at Dubai’s well-known landmark, Jumeirah Beach Hotel, on Monday night.

Set against the backdrop of the imposing Burj Al Arab, the all-night event saw Roula Saad, Shafquat Amanat Ali and Korean entertainment act JUMP regaling their multicultural audiences with their spectacular performances.

The Healthcare Collection is a comprehensive range of digital appliances designed to provide optimum healthy and hygienic conditions in homes and offices and further reinforces LG’s leading position in the world’s appliance industry.

“The Healthcare Collection and our performers at the VIP dinner share one thing in common – they have an instant connection with their audiences,” said Mr. K.W. Lebanese singer-actress Roula Saad has remained among the top of music charts in the Arab world by consistently bringing out albums that celebrate life and music. Her songs are characterised by a youthful spirit and joie de vivre.

Roula’s multi-talented personality has seen her pursue careers in acting, singing, modeling and fashion design. She featured in the Syrian TV program The Four Seasons, as well as Omani television movie, The Return of the Treasure.

On the other hand, Shafquat Amaanat Ali, the lead singer of the fast-rising pop band Fuzon, continues his streak of popularity in India as well as his native Pakistan, creating Bollywood hits such as “Mitwa” (Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna) and “Yeh Haunsla” (Dor).

Shafquat is the son of Ustad Amanat Ali Khan, making him part of the ninth generation old Patiala Gharana, a well-established and centuries-old school of music, which boasts luminaries such as his uncle Ustad Fateh Ali Khan as well as Roshanara Begum.
