Libya has decided to compensate over 160 non-American victims of the 1986 blast of a West Berlin nightclub, the country's ambassador to Germany told Reuters on Tuesday.

"The memorandum will be signed tonight in Berlin. The volume is $35 million," Ambassador Said Abdulaati said, adding a formal agreement would be signed in two weeks in the Libyan capital.
