Life Sentence for Jordan Soldier In Killing of US Troops

According to Jordanian news outlet al-Ghad, the soldier who shot three US military trainers last November in al-Jafer airbase in Ma'aan governorate has been sentenced to life imprisonment by a Jordanian military court. 

Al Ghad further reports that the decision came during a public session held today under that chairman of the military judge Colonel Dr. Mohammed al-Afif and the membership of military judges Lt. Col. Abdullah al-Fawaz and Major Safwan al-Zu'bi. The conviction was made in the presence of the families of the victims.
 
The accused was convicted with three counts of murder as well as insulting the reputation of the Jordanian armed forces and violating military orders.
