6.0-magnitude earthquake strikes Afghanistan, shaking Kabul and northern Pakistan

ALBAWABA- A strong 6.0-magnitude earthquake struck Afghanistan's Hindu Kush region on Saturday, sending tremors across the country and into northern Pakistan, according to preliminary seismic reports. The earthquake's epicentre was located in the Hindu Kush, one of the world's most seismically active regions, where deep-focus earthquakes frequently occur due to the collision of the Indian and Eurasian tectonic plates.
