Libyan leader Moammer Kadhafi held talks on Sunday with former South African President Nelson Mandella, reported the official SPA news agency.

Mandellah arrived in Tripoli Saturday night on a four-day visit to the Arab African country, said the agency.

They reviewed a number of African issues and underscored the importance of the establishment of the African Union, said the agency, quoting a statement as saying.

Mandela played a key role in setting the dispute between the UN and Western counties, on one hand, and Libya, on the other, over the Lockerbie bombing – Albawaba.com
