MBC today proved the talents of its strong creatives by dominating the awards at the Promax & BDA Arabia Awards held at the Hyatt Regency in Dubai. MBC won 13 awards, including six Gold Medals for Best on On-Air Branding, Best On-Air Ident, Best News, Factual or Factual Entertainment Promo, Best Film Promo, Best Use of Music and Sound Design and Best Programme Promo.

One of the most prestigious award for promotion and marketing professionals working in electronic and broadcast media, the Promax & BDA Awards have only been presented once before in Arabia and MBC also topped the list last year.

“We are truly proud of our creative talents who have again proved that they have the talent and skills that far surpass their peers; they have shown time and again their capabilities in producing world-class creative content,” said Mohammad Al-Mulhem, MBC Group Director of Marketing, PR and Commercial.

“Achieving such outstanding success in these awards reminds us all at MBC that we must continue to develop content based on a solid understanding of evolving cultural themes and produce quality programmes that are regionally relevant.”

Operating through diverse communication channels, MBC has gained a reputation throughout the Arab world as a media pioneer. Al-Mulhem maintains that this is largely due to their continuous efforts to stay fresh and creative, while maintaining the highest standard of quality and experience.

MBC is renowned for recruiting the best talents from across the region. While it has recruited a solid base of highly experienced creative professionals, the group has also invested substantially in recruiting promising talents and training them to be among the world’s best.

“We complement this human resource development program with heavy investments in modern equipment and technology to help us optimize these resources to produce exceptional programmes for our audiences all over the world,” added Al-Mulhem.

Although this year marks the second Promax & BDA Awards, the association itself has been fostering and supporting broadcast and multimedia designers for more than 50 years.
