Cutting edge unique trade distribution tool for the hotel and travel sector to make its global debut after successful implementations in the United Arab Emirates market
Mercator, one of the leading suppliers of Information Technology to the global air travel industry, has just announced the recent adoption of DaeX, the unique trade automated booking channel into their portfolio of services and solutions. After the successful launch and implementation by leading hoteliers/tour operators in the UAE, DaeX is all set for the international market place, making its debut at the 2007 World Travel Market (WTM) to be hosted in London.
Built on world-class, leading technologies DaeX is a unique free web service that interfaces seamlessly to either a central reservation system (CRS) or a hotel’s property management system (PMS) with an internet booking engine or tour operating system enabling real time automation of bookings safely and securely. DaeX allows hotels to interact and transact in real time with tour operators, wholesalers, and corporate clients, therefore making it a unique trade automated booking channel.

Prior to the global launch, 54 leading hotels in the UAE, who have already given approval to implement DaeX, have seen that the solution delivers greater control and consistency on their rates. The solution has proven its ability to facilitate the management of room allocations, such as tentative and cancelled bookings automatically, helping hotels to maximize revenue and allow better management of their average room rate.

DaeX provides hotels with a unique web based Hotel Information Management System (HIMS) where all information about the property's products, services and policies can be managed dynamically. This allows the information to be distributed via a web service thereby reducing costs on managing collateral.
