The International Marathon of Casablanca is on the calendar of International Association of Athletics Federation (IAAF) for next year. This was announced recently in Casablanca by M. Mohamed Maâzaou, the director of the event.
The marathon will be organized with the support of the King Mohammed VI and it is expected to host the participation of about 15,000 people.
<i>Albayanne</i> reports that among the athletes taking part in the marathon, there will be renowned runner Larbi Khattabi, who resides in the United States, and twenty top runners representing countries such as Kenya, Tanzania, Russia, South America and Ukraine.
