Midas announced this week that it officially launched its Midas Media Club which was established to strengthen ties between Midas and members of the local media.
Through the Midas Media club activities that will take place during 2008, Midas will strive to give its members exclusive news on Midas, Kare, Sia, among the other International brands represented by Midas and their latest developments. Furthermore, the club comes with an array of added benefits for its members including automatic membership to the Midas Privilege Card with 15% discount on Midas products, gatherings that strengthen ties held between Midas’s management and club members, awards that recognize journalists with outstanding performance and lots more.
Commenting on this innovative initiative, Mr. Raja Khoury, CEO of Midas said, “Our firm belief in the imperative role that the media plays is what encouraged us to launch the Midas Media Club through which we plan to bridge communications between Midas and the press corps.”
Referring to the club’s benefits, Mr. Khoury added, “Through the Midas Media club, we will provide club members with membership to the Midas Privilege card granting them 15% discounts at the Midas and Kare outlets.”

Earlier this month, Midas launched the ‘Midas Privilege Card’ which is an innovative customer loyalty program is aimed at rewarding customers consistently by point accumulation; the more points accumulated through purchases the greater the chances are for customers to be upgraded to the next discount category. Furthermore, the ‘Midas Privilege Card’ rewards customers retrospectively whereby past purchases dated back till May 2002 are also accounted for. Currently, over 20,000 of Midas’s current customers have automatically qualified for the ‘Midas Privilege Card’; they simply need to visit the Midas showroom, located on Wasfi Al Tel Street in Khilda, and pick up their cards.
