Iran's Minister of Information Ali Younesi said on Wednesday that more than 10 spies in the country's nuclear field have been arrested since the start of the current Iranian calendar year (March 20, 2004).
Talking to reporters, Younesi added that three of the suspects were members of Iran's Atomic Energy Organization but not employees of the government.
The spies, believed to be agents of Mossad and CIA, were arrested in Tehran and the southern province of Hormozgan, he said. "These (spies) were handed over to the Revolutionary Court," Younesi said, adding that their identities would not be disclosed until after their trial starts.
