Missiles from Lebanon hit building in Upper Galilee, Israeli army reports

ALBAWABA- Hezbollah has confirmed a series of targeted attacks on buildings used by Israeli soldiers in the settlements of Manara and Zar'it, claiming direct hits on these locations.

 Additionally, Hezbollah reported targeting a gathering of Israeli soldiers near the Ghajar site, resulting in casualties among the troops.

Israeli Army Radio confirmed that a building in Zar'it, Upper Galilee, was damaged by a rocket fired from Lebanon. 

The radio station also reported that Hezbollah launched five anti-tank missiles at the Ghajar area, though no injuries were caused. Sirens were triggered in Shlomi, Zar'it, and Shumra, adding to the heightened alert in the region.

Channel 14 Israel quoted the head of the Upper Galilee Council, who stated that Hezbollah’s activity is intensifying, leading to a decline in the region’s security level. 

In response, Israeli artillery targeted the city center of Khiam in southern Lebanon.

Amid these military escalations, the Israeli media outlet "Maariv" reported that the scale of fires in northern Israel has reached unprecedented levels, with over 200,000 dunams burned this year alone. 

This figure represents a 200% increase compared to previous years, surpassing the destruction seen during the Second Lebanon War and the Carmel disaster fire of 2010.
