MobileCom Awards Winners of Draw on Tawjihi Results Service

MobileCom today announced the names of the lucky winners from the draw of the Tawjihi Results” service, awarding the students valuable prizes at a ceremony held at the company’s Headquarters.

“On this occasion, I would like to emphasize that the Tawjihi Results service and other innovative services of MobileCom are the outcome of our continuous efforts towards offering new solutions for all our customers. MobileCom is the first company in Jordan to provide Tawjihi results through WAP and IVR technologies giving the customers instant access to a wide range of options, thus more convenience,” Marwan Al-Muhaisen, MobileCom Products and Services Marketing Manager, said.

The service has enabled MobileCom customers to access their Tawjihi results by sending an SMS with their student identification number to a pre-specified address.  In response, via instant SMS, the student will receive their official Tawjihi result issued by the Ministry of Education.

89 winners in the Tawjihi Results service received prizes which included Nokia mobile phones, JD500 cash awards presented by Philadelphia University, saving accounts from Bank of Jordan, a trip to Sharm Al-Sheikh from Dar Al-Hijra Travel Agency, ICDL courses offered by Jordan Telecom Fund in addition to MobileCom’s lines and prepaid cards.

At the end of the ceremony, Al-Muhaisen congratulated all the winners, assuring them of MobileCom's continuous endeavour to provide the most convenient and reasonably priced services to meet the requirements of our customers.

An agreement was signed on 23 January 2000 allowing the JITCO Investment Group, led by France Telecom, to enter Jordan Telecom with a 40 per cent shareholding equity. JITCO is a holding company which is owned partly by France Telecom (88%) and partly by the Arab Bank Ltd (12%).
