Modhesh Fun City received members of the Beijing Olympics committee as part of visits planned by Chinese embassies around the world to spread the spirit of the Olympic Games.
The visiting delegation led by Consul General of People’s Republic of China, Gao Youzhen, was received by Ibrahim Saleh, General Coordinator of DSF Office; Dr Musa Abbas, Director of the UAE National Olympic Committee; His Excellency Ibrahim Abdul Malik, General Secretary of the UAE National Olympic Committee; Saeed Rashid Omar, Judo champion and exponent; and Adel Khalid, the only Arab to feature in yacht competitions during the upcoming Beijing Olympics.
The delegation was also taken on a comprehensive tour of Modhesh Fun City that included a karate demonstration by members of Modhesh Friends Club and traditional heritage shows.
