The National Human Resources Development and Employment Authority, Tanmia, has succeeded in employing 131 UAE nationals representing 11 per cent of the total number of 1,237 job seekers who registered their names with the authority in the first quarter of 2002.
Speaking to mediapersons after the meeting of the authority's Board of Trustees, held in Dubai Tuesday under the chairmanship of Mattar Humaid Al Tayer, UAE Minister of Labour and Social Affairs, Youssuf Abdul Ghani, Director-General of Tanmia, said the board reviewed performance of the authority in the first three months, Khaleej Times reported.
