The Moroccan Administration for Customs and Indirect Taxes has introduced a new two-fold plan, meant to fight against fraud while assisting companies in difficulty. On the one hand, the Administration officials will adapt a more flexible approach on the technical and legislative levels and work to make their procedures more transparent. On the other hand, it will adopt new techniques to discover and prevent fraud.
Aujourd’hui Le Maroc reports that the main goal of this new plan is to assist law-abiding companies, especially those in financial difficulties (such as many of textile companies) in conducting their business faster and more efficiently.
