Moroccan Prime Minister Abdel-Rahman Youssoufi has cancelled a visit to Lebanon on Wednesday for “exceptional circumstances,” reported the Daily Star newspaper, quoting Morocco’s ambassador to Lebanon as saying.

Abdel-Jalil Funjeiro informed Premier Rafik Hariri that a meeting of the Lebanese-Moroccan High Committee, which was due to be held in Beirut Wednesday, was postponed at Morocco’s request.

The ambassador said that Morocco’s Premier, who was to have represented his country at this meeting with a Lebanese delegation led by Hariri, will not be able to meet this and other commitments on that day, the paper quoted him as saying.

“The premier also canceled two other official visits to both Jordan and Pakistan,” the ambassador said – Albawaba.com
