Morocco and the European Union (EU) agreed Friday to construct a subcommittee to examine political reforms and human rights.

Director of the European Middle East Commission's and South Mediterranean department, Christian Leffler, told MAP the meeting evoked realms of cooperation between the two sides and means to strengthen
it as part of the association agreement and the action plan of the neighborhood policy.
Subcommittees will hold a series of meetings in order to cover all fields of cooperation.
On his part, Director general of bilateral relations at the Moroccan foreign Ministry, Youssef Amrani, said an important progress has been made with the European Union in all fields, mainly in trade.
