Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak has extended a vacation to Germany by at least another week, to get a check-up for an inflammation of the ear, said reports.
Mubarak, 73, had been due to return to Cairo Sunday but will stay on to enjoy a longer holiday and get a checkup for the inflammation of the middle part of his left ear.
On Friday, Mubarak and German Foreign Minister Joschka Fischer took discussed the ongoing Palestinian uprising against 34 years of Israeli military occupation.
The men met for two hours in the southwestern spa town of Baden Baden, where Mubarak and his wife have been spending their holiday.
Mubarak left Cairo on July 24 for an official visit of several hours to Rome before embarking on his private visit to Germany – Albawaba.com
